The Pardeeville Area School District Board of Education has unanimously approved the hire of Amber Denure as its next superintendent.
Mrs. Denure is currently the principal at Pardeeville Middle School, where she is highly respected, and the school has flourished under her leadership. Mrs. Denure’s previous experiences include the following appointments:
Teacher at Pardeeville Middle School in Pardeeville, WI
Teacher at St. John’s Lutheran School in Portage, WI
Teacher at Portage High School in Portage, WI

Her passion for education, collaborative and approachable style, and commitment to the Pardeeville community stood out during the selection process. We believe her vision will further enhance our school district’s mission, and we look forward to a bright future under her leadership,” Board of Education President Becky Levzow said in a statement.
Mrs. Denure holds a Bachelor of Science in Education degree from the University of Wisconsin-Oshkosh and a Master of Arts in Education from Viterbo University. She is currently continuing her education in the Educational Leadership Program at Viterbo University.
Regarding the opportunity to be the next Superintendent for the Pardeeville Area School District, Mrs. Denure stated, “I am truly grateful for the opportunity to be the district’s next administrator. My experience as a student, teacher, and principal in the district has given me the chance to witness many positive changes and to work with hundreds of wonderful students. I want to sincerely thank the board for their confidence in me, and I also appreciate all the students, staff, and community members who have kindly shared their support over the past few weeks. I am looking forward to beginning the next chapter of my career as an educator!"
Mrs. Denure will replace current interim-superintendent, Gus Knitt. Mrs. Denure will assume the superintendent duties on July 1, 2026. Until then, she will continue to serve as the principal at Pardeeville Middle School and plan for a smooth transition with Mr. Knitt. The search for the next principal at Pardeeville Middle School will commence in the near future.
A community “Meet and Greet” with Amber Denure will be scheduled by the Board of Education at a day and time to be determined.
The Wisconsin Association of School Boards assisted the Pardeeville Area School District Board of Education with this superintendent search process.
