Hello! My name is Jennifer Saloun. I graduated from Marian University in May of 2000 with a Bachelor's Degree in Early Childhood and Elementary Education. Upon graduating, I taught 4 yr old Kindergarten for two years in New Lisbon, WI. I then met my husband and we moved to the Green Bay area where I taught 5 yr old Kindergarten for 3 years in the Luxemburg-Casco School district. I had my son and decided to take a break from teaching and stay home. I had an in home day care for 5 years. My husband accepted a new job in Westfield, WI and we moved to Portage. I taught in Portage for 4 years (Kindergarten for 3 years and a 1st/2nd grade split for one year). I am now starting my 19th year of teaching!

I will be teaching 2nd grade this year. I have been married to my husband for 22 years and we have two wonderful children.  We also have a rescue puppy named Kobe. My family keeps me pretty busy but in my spare time I enjoy scrapbooking, reading and taking vacations. Our family goal is to see all 50 states. We are half way there!

I am looking forward to an exciting school year!
