I graduated from UW-Oshkosh with my Bachelor of Science in Education degree and began my career teaching social studies and English at Portage High School. After a few years there, I started teaching in the Pardeeville Area School District in 2003. I earned my Master of Arts degree from Viterbo University and soon after earned my administrator's license. I was a teacher in the district for 18 years and the middle school principal for 5 years before becoming the superintendent in 2026.
