Welcome to the PASD facility planning page! Find background information, important dates, answers to frequently asked questions, and more here.
PASD hosted two facility planning community workshops in March 2026, looking for feedback from the community on what facility projects you think the district should prioritize. Watch a recording of the presentation to learn about potential projects, why they’re being considered, and initial cost estimates.
Background
Our focus will always be our students and giving them the best education possible. Part of that focus includes ensuring our facilities meet student and staff needs. Over the long term, we want to remain good stewards of our facilities and our finances — two pillars of the school district’s strategic plan.
To accomplish this, the Pardeeville Area School District has enacted a long-range facility plan: a process used to make decisions through community and staff engagement regarding current and future facilities and sites.
April 2025
PASD went to referendum in April 2025 for both operating and facilities (two questions on the ballot). Voters approved the operating referendum but not the facilities referendum. While the district continues to look for opportunities to address facility needs, we are grateful to the community for supporting our operating referendum — thank you!

May-August 2025
The district and facility planning partners met with the Board in June, July, and August to discuss next steps, as well as to revise the project schedule. The Board agreed on potentially targeting November 2026 for a facilities referendum.
September-December 2025
Dr. Gus Knitt was named Interim Superintendent and became engaged with facility planning efforts. A Parent & Staff Survey was conducted in October, asking for feedback on facility needs, the district itself, and more. GROTH, Findorff, and Dr. Knitt presented on facility options and survey results to staff in November.
January-March 2026
Amber Denure was selected as the next superintendent. Potential projects continue to be explored, and Findorff, GROTH, and the district are preparing for community and staff facility planning workshops in March. In these workshops, attendees will be asked to participate in a prioritization exercise to share their feedback on what facility projects the district should focus on.
